Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency said it truly is alarmed about the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant range of clients/beneficiaries click here to access SASSA services.
“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The company point made for intervention activities a substantial inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to allow the servicing of all prospects and enhance access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
